IDF forces from the Civil Administration rescued an Israeli Jew who had entered Ramallah overnight in a friend’s car and was later left behind in the Palestinian city center. According to an initial investigation, the man was abandoned by the friend after arriving in the city.
Residents in the area spotted the Israeli wandering around Ramallah and alerted the security apparatus, which then coordinated the rescue. The report did not say where the man was taken after being found.
Security officials repeated their warning that entering Area A places lives at risk and is prohibited by law. The incident took place during the night, and the statement made clear that the rescue followed local reporting and a security response.
