Israeli Reservist Attacked by Arabs in West Bank and Rescued by Palestinian Police in Coordination with IDF

An unusual incident occurred overnight between Sunday and Monday in the Benjamin region near the village of Ein Arik, where an armed Israeli reservist, not in uniform, was attacked by Arab assailants while traveling on the bypass road near Beitunia in Area C, close to the border with Area A. Palestinian Authority police, coordinating with the Israel Defense Forces, entered Area C to intervene, used crowd dispersal measures, and wounded one of the attackers. The reservist and his vehicle were then handed over to Israeli forces.

In a separate event during the night, a young Israeli woman was seen wandering in the Palestinian city of Jericho in the Jordan Valley. Initial investigations indicated she entered the city intentionally, prompting rapid action by Civil Administration officers to ensure her safe extraction due to concerns for her safety.

A third incident took place in Bethlehem, where a mentally unstable Israeli was spotted roaming the city streets. Palestinian residents alerted Israeli security forces, who quickly took the individual into custody. All three cases are now under investigation by the Judea and Samaria District Police.
