Worker Severely Burned in Solar Water Heater Explosion in Jerusalem
A 27-year-old worker suffered severe burns over his entire body after a solar water heater exploded while he was working in Jerusalem. Emergency medical teams from Magen David Adom (MDA) responded promptly and evacuated him to Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in the city.
Eliahu Arentroy, an emergency medical technician from MDA's motorcycle unit, and paramedic Shlomi Friedman reported that the worker was fully conscious despite his extensive burns. They began immediate medical treatment at the scene and continued care during transport. The patient's condition was described as serious upon arrival at the hospital.
