Temperatures Drop Slightly Across Israel, But Heatwave Persists
On Saturday, Israel will experience some relief from the intense heat as temperatures drop slightly, especially in the mountainous regions and inland areas. The morning will start with some cloud cover, which will clear up later, leading to generally pleasant weather conditions. Despite this minor cooldown, the summer heat remains far from over, with most parts of the country still facing heavy to extreme heat levels throughout the day. Nighttime will see partly cloudy skies.
Temperature forecasts for key cities include Jerusalem ranging from 20 to 32 degrees Celsius, Tel Aviv and Haifa between 26 and 31 degrees, and hotter spots like Tiberias and Eilat reaching up to 38 and 40 degrees respectively. Other notable temperatures are Kiryat Shmona at 21 to 37 degrees, Safed at 18 to 34 degrees, Ashdod at 25 to 31 degrees, Beersheba at 23 to 35 degrees, and Mitzpe Ramon at 19 to 31 degrees.
Although the heat is easing slightly, residents should still prepare for continued high temperatures and heat stress in many areas across Israel.
