Netanyahu Clashes Directly with Turkey After Arrest Warrant Threats

Following announcements by Turkish government ministers to pursue international arrest warrants against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, tensions between Israel and Turkey have sharply escalated. Earlier, Turkish officials declared plans to issue a "Red Notice" through Interpol, accusing Netanyahu of international crimes related to Israel's actions against Turkish aid flotillas to Gaza. In response, Netanyahu strongly condemned the Turkish government, accusing President Recep Tayyip Erdogan of hypocrisy, antisemitism, and supporting Hamas terrorism.
