Eyal Golan Sets New Date for Postponed Show After Home Front Restrictions
Eyal Golan announced on Monday morning that the postponed performance will now take place on Tuesday, June 16. He told fans who are due to attend the three shows planned for next week, "I prepared some surprises for you," and thanked people who had contacted him about the situation, calling it "the greatest happiness that exists."
The show was pushed back after the Home Front Command tightened public gathering rules to a maximum of 5,000 people amid concerns about possible missile launches from Iran. The same restrictions also led to the cancellation of shows by Golan and singer Omer Adam on Sunday.
After the cancellation, Golan said he wanted the kosher catering prepared for the event to be donated to IDF soldiers. In an Instagram story, he wrote that "everything was already ready for tonight" and said, "We have kosher catering for hundreds of people that we want to donate to our dear IDF soldiers." He asked anyone interested in the supplies to contact his team to arrange delivery.
About an hour later, he updated followers again, saying, "Everything has been donated, blessed be the Creator."
