Authorities in Tel Aviv district were preparing on Sunday evening to cancel Eyal Golan’s concert, which was scheduled for that night at Bloomfield Stadium in Tel Aviv. An official announcement was expected shortly, as officials weighed the event against the tense security situation and the possibility of an Iranian response to an Israeli airstrike in Beirut’s Dahieh district.

The development came after the IDF spokesman confirmed that the army was preparing for the possibility of incoming fire toward Israel within hours. IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir was holding ongoing situational assessments with all relevant officials, while the security establishment closely monitored threats issued during the day by senior Iranian figures and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.
