Large concerts by Omer Adam and Eyal Golan canceled amid Home Front Command restrictions

Concerts by Israeli singers Eyal Golan and Omer Adam were canceled after the Home Front Command changed its nationwide guidelines and capped public gatherings at 5,000 people. Golan’s planned show at Bloomfield Stadium in Tel Aviv and Adam’s concert at Shlomo Stadium in Petah Tikva were both called off.

Adam’s performance had originally been set for last Sunday, but it was postponed because of missile fire from Iran. It was then rescheduled for today, only to be canceled again, with organizers saying it will likely be pushed to a later date that has not yet been announced.

In an Instagram story, Adam told fans, “I don’t know what else to say to you. I am here at the stadium, we prepared for you a night of a lifetime, but apparently the Iranians have other plans for us.” He added that they were apologizing in advance, that the show would be postponed under the current instructions, and that an update would follow. He also urged fans to “take care of yourselves” and “not lose hope.”
