Israeli singer Omer Adam is expected to marry his fiancée, Sasha Israelovich, at the end of August, and sources say he is preparing to take an extended break from live shows. The wedding had previously been reported by Walla Celebs, and the couple’s relationship and engagement were first noted there.
According to a report in Israel Hayom, people close to Adam say he is closing his booking calendar for new performances and, unless there is a last-minute change, will stop touring for about a year. The only exceptions are events already booked and the planned Hanukkah concerts. The report also says Adam, who usually appears almost every year at the Tamar Festival, will skip it this year because of the pause.
That means his upcoming show on Monday at Ramat Gan Stadium is likely to be his last major performance for the foreseeable future. The article also says the singer and Israelovich were recently seen together at the wedding of Eden Pines and Omer Cohen.
The wedding is set for August 27 in Italy, where Israelovich’s family lives. The celebrations are expected to begin on August 23, and the event will be intimate, with only close family members and friends invited.
