Israeli singer Omer Adam is expected to take a long break from live appearances as he prepares to marry his partner, Sasha Israelevich, according to a report by Israel Hayom. The report says he will not book new shows in the near term and is slowing down after years of near-constant performing.
Adam is still committed to previously scheduled engagements, including the NEXT Festival and other already confirmed shows. He is also expected to skip the Tamar Festival concert tour this year and devote the coming months mainly to his personal life.
The pause comes as the couple prepares for a wedding in late August in Italy, where Israelevich’s family lives. Celebrations are expected to begin on August 23, with the chuppah ceremony planned for August 27.
According to the report, the couple chose a small, intimate wedding away from the spotlight, limiting attendance to close family and friends in order to keep the event private.
