Home Front restrictions force cancellation of major Omri Adam and Eyal Golan concerts
Two major concerts scheduled for Sunday night by Omri Adam and Eyal Golan were canceled after the Home Front Command limited public gatherings to 5,000 people amid expectations of an Iranian missile attack in the coming hours. The decision came hours after the IDF strike in Beirut’s Dahieh district and Iran’s threat to retaliate.
Golan had been set to perform at Bloomfield Stadium in Tel Aviv, in what would have been the third of five shows in his “Gold” series. Adam was due to appear at Shlomo Insurance Stadium in Petah Tikva, in a show that had already been postponed once last week because of Iranian fire.
Adam wrote on Instagram that he was already at the stadium and that the team had prepared “an evening of a lifetime,” but said, “apparently the Iranians have other plans for us.” He apologized, said the concert would be postponed under the current instructions, and promised an update later, adding, “Take care of yourselves, do not lose hope.”
Golan also posted that, because of the Home Front Command’s instructions, the planned performance would not take place. He said that once the guidelines change, a new date will be announced, and that all tickets would remain valid automatically for the rescheduled show.
