Maya Plumbowim, a Ramat Gan city council member and immigration and absorption portfolio holder, has officially joined the Yisrael Beiteinu party led by Knesset member Avigdor Lieberman. Plumbowim brings extensive experience from the public, economic, and technological sectors. She previously served as an officer in the Budget Department of the Ministry of Defense and as an economic advisor to Israel's ambassador at the OECD. Currently, she represents the "Ramat Gan 1" faction headed by Carmel Shama-Hacohen on the city council.
In addition to her public and municipal roles, Plumbowim is active in the high-tech industry, focusing on business development and promoting the integration of artificial intelligence technologies in healthcare systems and hospitals both in Israel and internationally. Upon joining Yisrael Beiteinu, she expressed pride in supporting Lieberman, describing him as a strong and experienced leader capable of responsibly guiding Israel. She emphasized the need for leadership that ensures security, advances true equality in national service, and builds a Zionist and liberal state fostering excellence, progress, and innovation.
