Bnei Sakhnin Signs Romanian Forward Daniel Preskiv Ahead of 2026/27 Season

Bnei Sakhnin announced the signing of Romanian forward Daniel Preskiv ahead of the 2026/27 Israeli Premier League season. The 27-year-old, a former Romanian national team player, joined the club on a one-year contract with an option for an additional season. Preskiv previously played for Rapid FC in Romania and Cultural Leonesa in Spain's second division. He was transferred to Real Oviedo in Spain in summer 2024 for 700,000 euros and spent the last season on loan before his contract expired this summer.

Preskiv made 19 appearances and scored four goals in the 2025/26 season in Romania, followed by 10 appearances and one goal in Spain. His market value is estimated at 800,000 euros according to Transfermarkt. This signing marks Bnei Sakhnin's second acquisition within 24 hours, following the loan of Ilai Hajaj from Beitar Jerusalem. The club is coached by Yossi Abuksis and is preparing for the upcoming league season starting soon.
