Bnei Sakhnin Signs Romanian Forward Daniel Praskiv Ahead of 2026/27 Season
Bnei Sakhnin announced the signing of Romanian forward Daniel Praskiv just days before the start of the 2026/27 Israeli Premier League season. Praskiv, 27, a former Romanian national team player, joined the club on a one-year contract with an option for a second season. He previously played for Rapid FC in Romania and Cultural Leonesa in Spain's second division during the last season. Praskiv was transferred to Spain's Real Oviedo in summer 2024 for 700,000 euros and loaned out twice before his contract ended this summer. In the 2025/26 season, he made 19 appearances and scored four goals in Romania, followed by 10 appearances and one goal in Spain. Bnei Sakhnin's coach Yossi Abuksis welcomed the addition as the club strengthens its squad alongside the recent loan signing of Ilai Hajaj from Beitar Jerusalem.
