Lithuanian National Midfielder Modestas Vorobjovas Joins Bnei Sakhnin for 2026/27 Season
Bnei Sakhnin has strengthened its squad for the 2026/27 season by signing Lithuanian national team midfielder Modestas Vorobjovas. Vorobjovas, who played the last three seasons with Istanbulspor in Turkey's second division, joins the Israeli club on a one-year contract.
In the most recent season, Vorobjovas made 35 appearances for Istanbulspor before his contract expired. Over his international career, he has earned 52 caps for Lithuania and scored one goal. He will now play under coach Yossi Abuksis as Bnei Sakhnin prepares for the upcoming season in the Israeli Premier League.
