Bnei Sakhnin Nears Signing Romanian Forward Daniel Paraschiv Ahead of 2026/27 Season

Bnei Sakhnin is close to finalizing the signing of Romanian striker Daniel Paraschiv as part of their preparations for the 2026/27 Israeli Premier League season. The 27-year-old forward, who played last season for Rapid FC in Romania and Cultural Leonesa in Spain's second division, is currently in advanced negotiations to join the northern Israeli club. Paraschiv, valued at around 800,000 euros on Transfermarkt, was previously sold to Spain's Real Oviedo in summer 2024 for 700,000 euros and spent the last year on loan before his contract ended this summer.

Paraschiv made 19 appearances and scored four goals in all competitions during the 2025/26 season in Romania, followed by 10 appearances and one goal in Spain. His arrival is expected to strengthen the squad coached by Yossi Abukasis. Earlier, Bnei Sakhnin announced the loan signing of Ilay Hajaj from Beitar Jerusalem, signaling an active transfer window for the club as the new season approaches.

The club aims to bolster its attacking options with Paraschiv's addition, complementing their recent acquisitions and enhancing their competitiveness in the Israeli Premier League starting in late August 2026.
