Yair Lapid Waits in Vain as Netanyahu Cancels Scheduled Security Meeting
A planned security briefing between Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and opposition leader Yair Lapid was scheduled for today but ultimately did not take place. Initially set to occur in Jerusalem, the meeting location was changed at Netanyahu's request. Lapid adjusted his schedule accordingly and arrived at the new venue. However, after waiting for an extended period, Netanyahu did not appear for the meeting. Lapid eventually left the location without the meeting occurring. Neither Netanyahu's nor Lapid's offices issued any comment regarding the incident.
