Elia Cohen Marries Ziv Avod After 505 Days in Captivity
After a decade-long relationship and 505 days in captivity, Elia Cohen and his partner Ziv Avod are marrying tonight at Ronit Farm. Cohen, who survived his time in captivity, reunites with Avod in a ceremony attended by over a thousand family members and friends. This marks their first meeting in a week, now as bride and groom. The wedding ceremony and blessings will be conducted by former Chief Rabbi David Lau. Israeli singer and songwriter Amir Benayoun will escort the couple to the chuppah.
