Joint List Reunites Without Abbas, Led by Jabareen, Tibi, and Abu Shahadeh
The Joint List, a political alliance of Arab parties in Israel, is reuniting for the upcoming elections without the participation of Ayman Odeh's Hadash party leader. The alliance will include Hadash, Ta'al, and Balad. Hadash chairman Yosef Jabareen will head the list, followed by Ta'al leader Ahmad Tibi in second place, and Balad chairman Sami Abu Shahadeh in third. The list order continues with Hadash in fourth, Balad in fifth, Hadash in sixth and seventh, Balad in eighth, and Ta'al in ninth, with a rotation agreement between the sixth and ninth spots. Jabareen will serve as the list chairman, while Tibi will be the faction chairman. The official announcement of the alliance is expected within 48 hours. Polls indicate that this reunification could secure nine Knesset seats.
