Right-Wing Figures Yossef Hadad, Ofer Winter, and Leli Deri Plan Joint Political Run Ahead of Israeli Elections

Yossef Hadad, a public relations activist who recently registered a new party called "Brave Israel," is in advanced talks to form a political alliance with retired Brigadier General Ofer Winter and bereaved mother Leli Deri. According to a report by Dafna Liel on N12, the three have been working in recent weeks to finalize an agreement for a joint electoral list. The plan, if completed, is to announce the alliance only at the last moment before the candidate registration deadline. This strategy aims to minimize political pressure, including from Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Leli Deri, who lost her son, Lieutenant Colonel Saadia Yaakov Deri, in combat in central Gaza during the recent war, has become a prominent public figure. Ofer Winter, a former commander of the Givati Brigade, is also widely respected in right-wing circles. The alliance is seen as a potential boost to the opposition bloc known as the Change Camp, which could complicate Netanyahu's political standing ahead of the elections scheduled in two months.
