Holon Police Station Commander Removed After Internal Review Finds Failures

The commander of the Holon police station, Deputy Superintendent Eliad Lankri, was dismissed from his position following an internal review that uncovered significant shortcomings in the station's operations and work plan. The review, conducted recently, evaluated various aspects of the station's performance and identified multiple gaps and failures. As a result, Tel Aviv District Commander Chief Superintendent Haim Saragrof concluded that Lankri was professionally unfit to continue in his role. Holon is a large police station typically led by an officer of Superintendent rank, but Lankri held the lower rank of Deputy Superintendent. Prior to his tenure in Holon, Lankri served as commander of the Dan region and the Tel Aviv North police station. The Israel Police stated that due to the professional and managerial deficiencies found, Saragrof recommended the immediate termination of Lankri's command.
