Police Suspect Four Youths in Fatal Beating of Eldar Dayan in Petah Tikva

A significant development has emerged in the investigation into the death of Eldar Dayan in Petah Tikva. Police suspect that four of the five youths involved in the altercation preceding Dayan's death assaulted him, including kicking him in the head. This attack allegedly caused a brain hemorrhage that led to his death. The four suspects were arrested recently and are expected to appear today (Tuesday) at the Petah Tikva Magistrate's Court, where police will request an extension of their detention. Authorities are likely to charge them with joint murder based on the investigation's findings.

Meanwhile, the fifth suspect, also believed to have participated in the fight, remains at large, and police are actively searching for him. The four arrested individuals had previously been questioned regarding their involvement. Defense attorney Shay Roda, representing one of the suspects, stated that his client denies the intentional murder charge, has provided his version of events, surrendered his mobile phone, and claims no involvement in Eldar Dayan's death.
