Religious Weekly 'Olam Katan' Transforms From Leaflet to Full Weekend Newspaper

The religious weekly publication 'Olam Katan,' founded about 20 years ago as a Shabbat leaflet, is transitioning into a full weekend newspaper. Recently acquired by the owners of Channel 14, the publication is expanding its format significantly, increasing content volume, adding new writers, and redesigning its logo and layout. The revamped newspaper will offer a broad range of content including news, current affairs, commentary, personal columns, Judaism, society, culture, and magazine features.

Among the new contributors is Yotam Zamri, who recently left the newspaper 'Makor Rishon' and appears on the cover of the new issue. Distribution will also be expanded beyond traditional synagogue handouts to include additional points across Israel, aiming to reach a wider readership. The owners emphasized their goal to provide readers with a quality, engaging newspaper that offers valuable content on every page, growing into a leading media group within the religious-Zionist community. The new edition will exceed 80 pages, marking a major step in the publication's growth and renewal.
