Trump Says Deal With Iran Is Complete, Hormuz Reopened
President Donald Trump announced on Sunday evening that the United States has reached an agreement with Iran. In his statement, Trump wrote that the deal with the Islamic Republic of Iran is now complete and congratulated everyone on the outcome.
Trump also said he was fully authorizing the free opening of the Strait of Hormuz and ordering the immediate lifting of the U.S. naval blockade. He added, “World ships, start your engines. Let the oil flow.”
Israeli political correspondent Yaron Avraham reacted to the announcement by saying, “What is left? Only to pray.” He added, “In other words, Trump took care of himself with an impressive birthday party, but left us the surprise party.”
