One-Year-Old Baby Critically Injured After Being Hit by Car in Tiberias Haredi Neighborhood

A one-year-old baby was seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle on Shefa Chaim Street in Tiberias on Sunday evening. Emergency medical teams, including Magen David Adom, United Hatzalah, and Hatzalah volunteers, arrived promptly and provided life-saving treatment at the scene before rushing the infant to Poriya Medical Center. The baby, named Yeshaya Osher ben Sarah Pearl, was found unconscious with severe injuries to his head, abdomen, and limbs.

The incident occurred around 7 p.m., prompting a rapid response from local medical and police forces. Upon arrival, paramedics stabilized the child with complex bandaging and bleeding control under critical time pressure. The infant was immediately admitted to the trauma room at Poriya for urgent examinations and advanced medical intervention.
