One-Year-Old Baby Severely Injured by Car in Tiberias, Motorcycle Rider Also Critically Hurt
A one-year-old baby was seriously injured Sunday evening after being hit by a car in Tiberias. Magen David Adom (MDA) paramedics arrived at the scene on Shefa Chaim Street and provided initial medical treatment before transporting the child to Poriya Hospital. The baby was unconscious with head and limb injuries. Paramedics Nasi Levi and Tohar Shaked reported that the infant was in critical condition upon their arrival and received life-saving care.
Earlier in the afternoon, a 50-year-old motorcyclist was critically injured in a collision with a car in Rishon Lezion. MDA medics treated and evacuated him from Mark Moshavitz Street to Shamir Medical Center (Assaf Harofeh) with serious head and limb injuries. Paramedics Idan Pinczewski and Naftali Halberstadt said the motorcyclist was fully conscious but severely hurt when they found him lying on the front of the vehicle. He was given emergency medical care and taken to the hospital in critical condition.
