IDF Kills Hamas Battalion Commander in Southern Gaza Airstrike
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) conducted an airstrike yesterday in southern Gaza that killed Khadifa Khaled Suleiman Kawara, a Hamas battalion commander in the Khan Yunis Brigade of Hamas' military wing. According to the IDF spokesperson, Kawara was involved in training militants, transferring weapons across southern Gaza, and advancing Hamas' reconstruction efforts during the ongoing conflict. Recently, he also promoted terror activities targeting IDF forces and Israeli civilians. The IDF's Southern Command stated it will continue operations to eliminate any immediate threats.
