Israeli Police Seek Public Help to Find Missing Man Between Tiberias and Safed

Israeli police have requested public assistance in locating 24-year-old Taryel Nachman Keinan from Beit Shemesh, who has been missing since the evening of August 10. He was last seen around 6 p.m. near the Gai Beach area in Tiberias, on his way to Safed, and has not been heard from since. Keinan is described as approximately 1.74 meters tall with black hair, a black beard, and brown eyes. At the time of his disappearance, he wore a white shirt, black suit, a hat, a black backpack, and carried a dark brown tefillin bag. He also wears eyeglasses and a yellow Messiah flag pin.

Both police and Keinan's family have urged anyone with information, even seemingly minor details, to come forward. They can contact the police emergency number 100, the Beit Shemesh police station, or dedicated missing persons hotlines. The area between Safed and Meron, where Keinan disappeared, has been nicknamed the "Israeli Bermuda Triangle" due to a history of unusual disappearances. Since Israel's establishment, at least ten people have vanished in this region, including notable cases like Haimenot Kaso and Moishy Kleinerman. Authorities note there is no common link among these cases but acknowledge the area's challenging terrain, including open and wooded spaces and mountainous conditions, complicates search efforts.
