The Ministry of Health continues to monitor the Ebola outbreaks in the Democratic Republic of Congo and Uganda closely while maintaining preparedness for potential scenarios within Israel's healthcare system. The public was urged to avoid non-essential travel to regions with active Ebola transmission. Travelers returning from these areas who develop fever or unusual symptoms within 21 days of return are advised to stay home, avoid contact with others, and contact the health hotline by phone.
