The social media platform X has suspended the account of Yahya Saree, the military spokesman for the Houthi armed forces in Yemen. Saree's account was a key channel for disseminating official statements, claiming responsibility for missile and drone attacks, and issuing threats against Israel and other regional countries. This suspension marks another instance of his accounts being blocked, though X has not publicly detailed the specific reasons for the latest action.

Yahya Saree has been one of the most recognizable faces of the Houthi propaganda apparatus internationally, with his social media posts frequently cited by global media outlets.
