Israeli Forces Move to Evict Outpost Near Palestinian Village in West Bank

Israeli security forces arrived overnight to evacuate an unauthorized outpost established near Palestinian homes in the village of Kousra in the West Bank. The outpost's presence had resulted in several Palestinian residents being trapped for four days. Elisha Yered, a settler activist, reported that Border Police officers, together with Civil Administration inspectors, raided and demolished three settlement points in the Binyamin and Samaria regions during the night. However, Abd al-Azim Wadi, head of the Kousra council, stated that the outpost had not yet been cleared, noting that large military forces were deployed both in the village and on the nearby hill. According to Wadi, the Civil Administration indicated that the extremist settlers would likely be fully removed from the site later today. He also urged local residents to avoid unnecessary vehicle movement within the village to prevent escalation.
