Woman Killed After Car Loses Control and Hits Store in Hadera Shopping Complex
A woman in her mid-60s died Wednesday morning after being struck by a private vehicle at the Mix shopping complex in Hadera. According to the Israel Fire and Rescue Services, the car lost control, crashed into a store, and ran over the woman who was standing nearby, trapping her underneath the vehicle. Emergency Medical Services (MDA) teams arrived at the scene and declared her dead due to severe multi-system trauma. Firefighters from the Hadera station worked to free the woman from under the car while MDA paramedics and police conducted rescue and investigation efforts. Paramedic Pavel Shkortov and senior MDA medic Ofer Yosha reported that the pedestrian was unconscious, without pulse or breathing upon their arrival, and despite medical checks, she was pronounced dead at the scene. Traffic accident investigators from the Manasseh district and Hadera police opened an inquiry into the circumstances of the crash. After the rescue operation, firefighters handed over the scene to the police for further investigation.
