Nes Ziona Basketball Club Continues Strengthening Roster and Staff Ahead of New Season

Nes Ziona basketball club has undergone significant professional and financial changes following the arrival of a new owner last season. After a disappointing campaign that saw the team battling to avoid relegation in the lower playoff bracket, the club now aims to finish in the upper playoff tier and climb higher in the league standings.

The team has renewed contracts with key players Spencer Weisz, Jackson Rowe, and Bryce Brown, while adding new signings during the summer including Adam Ariel, Vincent Amsalem, Freddy Gillespie, Benia Sarur, Noam Dovrat, Jacob Wiley, and Paris Lee. Despite these additions, Nes Ziona is still seeking to strengthen its roster by acquiring two more players: an Israeli forward and a foreign guard.

In addition to bolstering the player lineup, the club plans to enhance its coaching staff by bringing in two Lithuanian professionals, an assistant coach and a fitness coach, to join the existing team. This follows the recent appointment of Tony Wills as a skills development coach near the end of the previous season. The Lithuanian duo is expected to complete the club’s professional staff, aiming to support the team’s improved performance in the upcoming Israeli Basketball Premier League season.
