Nes Ziona Signs Noam Dovrat and Jacob Wiley for Upcoming Basketball Season
Nes Ziona basketball club has secured agreements with guard Noam Dovrat and center Jacob Wiley ahead of the next season. Following the high-profile signing of Paris Lee, the team continues to strengthen its roster. Dovrat, an Israeli guard who played college basketball in the United States during the 2025 season, is set to return to Israel after averaging 3.8 points and one assist in 8.9 minutes per game. Despite interest from Hapoel Eilat, Dovrat chose to join Nes Ziona. In his last season in Israel, playing for Hapoel Jerusalem and briefly for Maccabi Ramat Gan, he averaged 5.2 points and 2.4 assists in 16.5 minutes per game.
Jacob Wiley, a 31-year-old experienced center, will join Nes Ziona for the first time. Wiley has played for several teams, including EuroLeague clubs Gran Canaria and Panathinaikos. Last season, he averaged 12.8 points and 6.1 rebounds while playing in Puerto Rico. Nes Ziona is also looking to add another center alongside Wiley to further bolster the team’s frontcourt.
These signings reflect Nes Ziona’s ongoing efforts to build a competitive squad for the upcoming Israeli Basketball Premier League season.
