Beni Sarur Joins Nes Ziona as Team Strengthens Ahead of New Season

Nes Ziona basketball club continues to bolster its roster for the upcoming season by signing center Beni Sarur. Sarur, who recently made his debut for the Israeli national team, agreed to terms with Nes Ziona following his previous season with Elitzur Netanya, where he returned after recovering from a significant knee injury. He has also played for Hapoel Gilboa Galil and Maccabi Ramat Gan in the past.

Sarur aims to secure a rotation spot under coach Paul Corsaro as Nes Ziona prepares for the new campaign. His national team debut came amid several absences in the squad, featuring in games against Germany and Croatia, marking a milestone despite not scoring.

This signing adds to Nes Ziona's busy summer recruitment, which already includes notable acquisitions such as Paris Lee, Noam Dovrat, and Jacob Wiley, as well as contract extensions for Jackson Rowe and additions like Adam Ariel and Vincent Amsalem. The club is actively strengthening its lineup to compete in the Israeli Basketball Premier League.
