Jacob Wiley Signs with Ironi Nes Ziona to Strengthen Frontcourt
Ironi Nes Ziona officially announced the signing of 31-year-old Jacob Wiley on July 22, 2026. The 2.03-meter forward, who previously played for Panathinaikos and Rytas Vilnius, will bolster the team's front line. Wiley most recently played for the Puerto Rican team Centauros and averaged 8.9 points and 5.1 rebounds per game last season with Rytas Vilnius. He holds North Macedonian citizenship and has represented their national team during recent international breaks. Wiley has no known familial relation to Austin Wiley.
This signing continues Nes Ziona's active recruitment phase under coach Paul Corsaro, following earlier additions of Paris Lee, Adam Ariel, and Vincent Amsalem, as well as the contract extension of Jackson Rowe. Additionally, Noam Dovrat and Benaya Sarur have also joined the team. The club is preparing for the upcoming Israeli Basketball Premier League season with these roster enhancements.
