Jacob Wiley Signs with Ironi Nes Ziona to Strengthen Frontcourt
Ironi Nes Ziona officially announced the signing of 31-year-old forward Jacob Wiley on July 22, 2026. The 2.03-meter player, formerly with Puerto Rican team Cangrejeros de Santurce, will bolster the club's front line. Wiley, who has no known family relation to Austin Wiley, previously played for Panathinaikos and spent most of last season with Lithuanian club Rytas Vilnius, averaging 8.9 points and 5.1 rebounds per game. Holding North Macedonian citizenship, Wiley has also represented their national team during recent international breaks.
This signing continues Nes Ziona's active recruitment phase under coach Paul Corsaro, following the additions of Paris Lee, Adam Ariel, Vincent Amsalem, and contract extension of Jackson Rowe. Additionally, Noam Dovrat and Benaya Sarur have also joined the team, further strengthening the roster ahead of the Israeli Basketball Premier League season.
