Nes Ziona Basketball Team Adds Two Coaches to Staff
Israeli basketball club Nes Ziona announced on Sunday the addition of two new members to its professional coaching staff. The team, known as the 'Oranges,' has signed a new assistant coach and a physical capabilities coach. Both new hires, Vytautas Valiulis and Laimonas Rimkus, are from Lithuania. Valiulis has prior coaching experience with Russian clubs Khimki Moscow, Kuban, and Zenit, as well as Lithuanian teams. Rimkus has been part of the professional staff for the Lithuanian clubs Wolves and Nevėžis.
These appointments are expected to finalize the club's professional team for the upcoming season. Last season, Nes Ziona had already added Tony Wills as a skills development coach. The team has also made several player acquisitions over the summer of 2026, including Justin James, Paris Lee, Freddie Gillespie, Adam Ariel, Noam Dovrat, Vincent Emsellem, Bania Saror, and Jacob Wiley.
