Entrepreneur Oren Dobronski Responds to Criticism After Joining Likud

Oren Dobronski, a new entrepreneur and Likud party member, addressed the wave of criticism he has received, mainly from the political left, following his decision to enter politics. In a Facebook post, Dobronski thanked supporters and emphasized his commitment to building and fixing what is necessary for Israel's success, stating, "My success will be the success of the entire State of Israel." He expressed hope that more entrepreneurs and businesspeople would follow his lead and join politics to fight for the country.

Dobronski also responded to detractors who criticized his move, noting the irony of complaints about too many career politicians and then attacking a successful businessman making a personal sacrifice to enter politics. He called for more patience, respect, and recognition across political divides, urging critics to show some class even when disagreeing.

In the same context, opposition figure Ayelet Gottlieb condemned Dobronski's decision as "a disgraceful step mocking voters," questioning why good people would make such sacrifices for the political system if treated this way. Dobronski concluded his post by promising that critics would have many more opportunities to disagree with him, and perhaps even apologize.
