Tech Entrepreneur Oren Dobronski Joins Likud to Lead AI Initiatives in Israel
Oren Dobronski, a high-tech entrepreneur and founder of the first hummus restaurant chain in Silicon Valley, has officially joined the Likud party as Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's first ranked candidate. Dobronski, a successful businessman and right-wing supporter, began his career in Israel by founding the country's first online bulletin board startup in 1996 after completing his military service. In 2008, he moved from New York to Silicon Valley, where in 2011 he launched "Oren's Hummus" in Palo Alto, the first establishment to serve hummus in the region. Over the years, he expanded the chain to six additional locations across the United States.
The Likud party announced that following the upcoming elections, Dobronski will lead efforts on artificial intelligence across various sectors in Israel, including the economy, education, and healthcare.
