Businessman Oren Dobronski Joins Likud List at No. 11 to Lead AI Initiatives

Oren Dobronski, a businessman known for his participation in the TV show "The Sharks" and a pioneer in Israel's high-tech sector, has joined the Likud party as the first reserved candidate at the 11th spot on the list. Prime Minister and Likud chairman Benjamin Netanyahu announced Dobronski's inclusion on Monday evening, praising him as a successful businessman and a right-wing figure.

Dobronski revealed that he was approached about a month ago to join Likud and viewed it as a call to duty rather than a political ambition. "I felt it like a draft order. I'm not someone from politics," he said, adding, "I have no great political aspirations, but when you told me I could take on this, I said, 'I'm in, I'll carry the stretcher.' I'm here to do what is needed."

According to Likud's statement, after the elections, Dobronski is expected to lead efforts in artificial intelligence across various sectors including the economy, education, and healthcare. Netanyahu expressed enthusiasm about Dobronski's addition, highlighting the value of his initiative, understanding, experience, and success. He also emphasized Israel's opportunity to forge global alliances in AI, stating, "With God's help, we will do and succeed."
