Maccabi Tel Aviv Introduces Quiet Zones at Bloomfield Stadium for Combat Veterans

Maccabi Tel Aviv has launched an initiative to support combat veterans attending matches at Bloomfield Stadium by creating designated "quiet zones" or dedicated rooms at each stadium gate. These areas will provide a calm space for fans experiencing distress or attacks during games, allowing them to recover before returning to the stands. The initiative, announced on Tuesday, aims to help veterans remain part of the matchday experience despite challenges posed by noise and crowd intensity.

The project was developed following a joint meeting involving Maccabi Tel Aviv's management, the "Brothers for the Badge" association, the "Combat Diamonds" organization, and Bloomfield Stadium officials. They discussed ways to facilitate veterans' attendance and participation while addressing moments of difficulty caused by the stadium atmosphere. Identified quiet areas will be clearly marked with signs to help fans locate them quickly.

This support extends to all fans in need, including supporters of visiting teams, who can coordinate access to these zones through their clubs in advance. Maccabi Tel Aviv emphasized their commitment to these veterans, stating, "Combat veterans, we do not give up on you in the stands," and reaffirmed their recognition of the sacrifices and ongoing struggles faced by these individuals. The quiet zones will be operational starting with the first home league match of the season.
