Israeli Tax Authority Investigates Southern Dentist Over 10 Million Shekel Income Discrepancy

Israeli tax authorities are investigating a dentist from Beersheba on suspicion of failing to report millions of shekels in income. The investigation revealed a discrepancy exceeding 10 million shekels between the deposits in the dentist's business bank account and the income reported to the tax authority from 2020 to 2025. Additionally, the dentist allegedly omitted real estate assets from his wealth declaration and failed to update his residential address.

The probe escalated recently when, under a court order, documents were seized from the suspect's home and his legal representative. The dentist was brought before a magistrate judge in Rishon Lezion, who ordered his release under restrictive conditions. The investigation is ongoing.
