Israeli Police Seize Guns and Cash in Kafr Qasim Raid, Arrest Seven Suspects

Israeli police conducted a raid in Kafr Qasim, resulting in the arrest of seven suspects, including six illegal residents and a 49-year-old resident of Umm al-Fahm. The operation involved detectives from the National Unit for International Crime Investigations (Yahbal), tactical unit stormtroopers, and fighters from the Northern National Guard of the Border Police. During the raid, authorities confiscated two handguns, magazines, dozens of ammunition boxes, a smoke grenade, and approximately 14,000 shekels in cash. The police stated the raid was part of ongoing efforts to combat crime and conflicts within the Arab community, as well as to crack down on illegal weapons possession. The suspects were brought in for questioning and are expected to appear at the Magistrate's Court in Rishon Lezion for an extension of their detention.
