Israeli Police Arrest Seven Suspects Including Illegal Residents in Weapons Trafficking Bust

Israeli police arrested seven suspects, including a woman and three illegal residents, on suspicion of trafficking, possessing, and carrying weapons. The arrests followed a covert investigation by the Lahav 433 unit and a planned raid. Four of the suspects are residents of Umm al-Fahm, Zemer, and Fureidis. The illegal residents were found at a sheep pen owned by other suspects.

During the raid, police seized approximately 200 rounds of ammunition, a magazine, weapon parts, additional arms accessories, a drone, three vehicles, mobile phones, cash, and checks totaling about 1.3 million shekels. At one location, an abandoned vehicle was discovered containing stolen and duplicated license plates.

The police operation highlights ongoing efforts to combat illegal arms trade and possession within Israeli communities and among unauthorized residents. Further investigations are expected to continue as authorities process the seized materials and interrogate the suspects.
