Likud Reserves Knesset Seats for Gideon Sa'ar, Israel Katz, and Haim Katz

The Likud party announced that its secretariat is set to approve reserved Knesset seats for Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar, Defense Minister Israel Katz, and party center chairman Haim Katz. These reservations will be alongside additional slots reserved by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Earlier reports revealed that businessman Oren Dobronski will hold the first reserved spot on the list.

According to Likud's statement, the party secretariat will be asked to approve these placements simultaneously with Netanyahu's reserved seats. The decision to reserve a seat for Defense Minister Israel Katz follows a ruling by the party's disciplinary court last week, which mandated securing his position to allow him to focus on security matters without political distractions. Gideon Sa'ar's inclusion reflects the unity agreement between his faction and Likud, while Haim Katz's placement is due to his role as party center chairman.

Prime Minister Netanyahu welcomed Dobronski's joining of the party, noting that after the elections, Dobronski is expected to lead Israel's artificial intelligence initiatives across education, healthcare, and the economy in the public sector.
