Likud Approves Reserved Knesset Seats for Sa'ar, Haim Katz, and Israel Katz to Focus on Security

The Likud party announced that its secretariat will be asked to approve reserved Knesset seats for Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar, Defense Minister Israel Katz, and Likud Central Committee Chairman Haim Katz. This decision comes alongside reserved slots proposed by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The party explained that the movement's court ruled last week that the Defense Minister must be guaranteed a reserved seat, as he was expected to be placed near the top of the list, to allow him to concentrate on security matters rather than politics at this time. Sa'ar will be included as part of the unity agreement between his party and Likud, while Haim Katz receives a reserved seat due to his role as chairman of the party's central committee.
