Israeli Police Solve Murder of Ali Swaed, Target Crime Group in Shfaram

Israeli police unit Lahav 433 announced the resolution of the murder case of Ali Swaed in the northern city of Shfaram. After an extensive investigation lasting over 40 days, authorities filed indictments against four suspects, including three brothers and a 17-year-old minor. The suspects, all residents of Shfaram except one from Nazareth, are in their twenties. The police linked the murder to an ongoing conflict between the Swaed and Khalidi crime organizations. Ali Swaed was killed in the morning while arriving at his workplace at a local bus terminal. The investigation was led by Lahav 433’s homicide unit in cooperation with the Northern District police and the Haifa District Prosecutor’s Office. The suspects’ detention was extended as legal proceedings continue. Lahav 433 described the progress as moving in the right direction toward dismantling the crime group involved.
