Israeli Police Solve Murder in Lower Galilee Linked to Suwaid Crime Organization

A man in his early 30s was fatally shot in Araba, located in Israel's Lower Galilee, on Friday morning. Emergency medical teams arrived to find the victim unconscious and without vital signs, suffering from a penetrating injury; despite medical efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene. Paramedic Lior Gleizer described the victim's critical condition upon arrival.

This killing is connected to a violent feud between the Suwaid and Khalidi crime organizations, which has resulted in dozens of deaths. The Israel Police's Lahav 433 unit, in cooperation with the Northern District and the Haifa District Prosecutor's Office, has been investigating the case. Recently, prosecutors filed charges and requested detention for four suspects: three men in their 20s from Shfaram and a 17-year-old minor from Nazareth, all allegedly involved in the murder of Ali Suwaid in Shfaram about six weeks ago.

Lahav 433 emphasized their ongoing commitment to dismantling the Suwaid crime organization as part of the Israeli Police's broader campaign against organized crime and related murders. This effort aligns with directives from the Police Commissioner to combat violent crime decisively, with recent operations already yielding results.
