Police to Indict Two Suspects in Shfaram Murder Linked to Crime Feud
The Israeli police announced on Sunday night that they will file charges against two men in their twenties suspected of murdering Hadi Swaed in Shfaram last month. According to the investigation, the suspects shot Swaed more than 20 times as he left his home to go to work as a gardener. The police statement indicated that the killing is part of an ongoing blood feud between the Swaed and Khalidi crime organizations, which has resulted in dozens of casualties.
Last month, Kan News reported that the police had launched a murder investigation after individuals connected to these crime groups recorded themselves shooting the victim, confirming his death, and posted the video on social media. The perpetrators shared the footage on TikTok, showing the victim lying on the ground while they repeatedly shot him and ensured he was dead. The video included the caption, "This is the fate of every Khalidi dog."
In related incidents in Shfaram, masked gunmen entered a wedding event armed, leading to the arrest of the groom. Additionally, a 30-year-old man was shot dead, marking the third murder in the family, highlighting the ongoing violence linked to these criminal disputes.
